New President of the Mexican National Academy of Bioethics
Prof. Martha Tarasco, Corresponding member of the Pontifical Academy for Life, has been nominated as the new President of the Mexican National Academy of Bioethics, which belongs to the Mexican Department of Health.
Prof. Tarasco received
her medical degree from the Mexico City Anahuac University. She specializes in
the Medicine of Human Communication; she completed Masters' degree in
Bioethics at the Sacred Heart Catholic University of Rome and another Master
in Clinical research at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. Prof.
Tarasco received a Doctoral degree in Medical research from the University of
Santiago di Compostela.
At the present, Tarasco
is a professor of Bioethics at the Anahuac University.
She has been a
Corresponding Member of the Pontifical Academy for Life since March 2006.
